We asked the members of the winnipeg sandbox what we ought to do about this situation. And we listened to our membership.
We have lifted nickelback's 24 hour suspension with no further sanctions. Of course it is on the proviso that nickelback understands the members of the sandbox will not tolerate racism, threats or revealing private information of sandbox members.
The winnipeg sandbox has become surprisingly successful in a very short period due to our members and their desire to participate in a lightly moderated forum. We welcome nickleback back into our sandbox believing this member will also enjoy participating in such a forum.
We believe this is consistent with our desire that the winnipeg sandbox be a largely self-moderating forum. We thank sandbox members for helping moderate this forum under trying conditions.
