I am pretty sure I saw a couple of "bumps" on Wilton between Corydon and Grant the other day.
Sad

Are you sure that wasn't that lil ole lady from around the block taking her pet chihuahua for a walk???

Ya they just finished the ones on Grosvenor. I'm guessing the reasoning being that there is a primary school on that stretch. Personally I think it's cause people in that neighbourhood have nothing better to do that complain about school "safety" even when no safety issue exists. I actually had a lady step out in front of me on the road in front of St.Ignatius to ask me to "slow right down in front of the school". I was going 40km/h and preparing to stop for a 4 way when she stepped out in front of me. How much slower did she want me to go? When I told her this she goes "we're just trying to get everyone to slow right down when kids are getting out". Well excuse me, then get the speed limit changed or put in speed bumps then. Untill then dont expect me to idle through "your" school zone. I can handle stopping from 40km/hr just fine.

People like this lady have nothing better to do than complain about problems that don't exist, and that explains all the "curb bumps". Politicians don't want to be seen as being anti-safety to their constituents. The loudest whiners get these stupid changes put in place.
