And you're surprised by this statement??? Another good reason to buy as local, organic and fresh as possible. The guidelines for organic are a lot more stringent than non organic.

And yet in many areas 75% of claims of organic have been proven to be false.

Heck people in Winnipeg think they grow organic food in their backyard. HINT its not possible.

Because you can not guarantee that no chemicals were used by your neighbors or the city near your home within the last 5 years.
