A while ago I signed up as a volunteer at all the mayor and councilor candidates websites that had one. Today I got 2 invites, one for a press release event and 1 to go to a fundraiser.

I think it's gonna be good to have some inside info.

Vision! A continual complaint! Harper has no vision! mayor Katz has no vision! Doer and his replacement and their Mother's had no vision!
Why do we keep electing people who have no vision?? lol

haha, judy... the spokesperson for the dumbest people in manitoba.

she went to council when voting on the BRT/LRT debate and tried to convince councillors to stay with BRT. that should of been big news, she was confronting katz at city hall. i think it would of made for a good story.

Not that there really is much of a selection in the mayoral race, but if she is elected, the city will take a dive in terms of mass transit developments, downtown developments, infrastructure developments, etc. She is essentially an NDP think tank from what I have heard, meaning she will do very little to advance Winnipeg in the positive direction of development.

I say let's stop the 'downtown revitalization' nonsense and let the market decide by itself.

So far, from what I've witnessed, development has kept costing me money while giving me nothing in return.

That money has gone directly into the developers pockets btw.

NOT THAT I"M VOTING FOR HER BTW!!!! Smile
