RCMP were called about 3:50 p.m. Friday after a hair straightening iron was stolen from Alpha Hair & Body salon at 227 Main St. in the city southeast of Winnipeg.
Mounties said a male entered the store and asked about a particular women’s hair straightening iron. He then grabbed the item, ran out of the store and drove away in a vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a late-model Red Honda Prelude. The male is described as approximately 6-feet-tall. He was wearing a black sweater — possibly with a yellow logo on the front — and jeans.
The stolen item is described as a Paul Brown Hawaii iron.
