Alerted to this by a Marty Gold rant... This is typical of the drivel reynolds generally produces and as Gold suggested is baseless and total garbage.
...A recent email from Free Press reader Patricia Johnson
contained a complaint that Mayor Sam Katz is seeing a much younger
woman. Katz is 59. Leah Pasuta looks to be in her early thirties.
They've been dating for 18 months. I don't travel in high society
circles so this was news to me...

Who, I just read the whole article, and it would appear that Sam Katz picks on young, beautiful women, who obviously need to be protected from this male. Reynolds is getting us great insite into how Sam operates!
This is scary news to me, who since Sam came out to visit Ralph Brown Community Center and spent time with the area kids, to show them it is possible to live in the area and be successful, to now realize that all he might have been doing is picking out his next girlfriend for the future 15 years!

The age thing means nothing to me...good on him if he can attract 'em that young...

But...I would be concerned about someone who may use his political position to further their personal agenda.

I know people who work for the RCMP have to have security checks and that includes their entire family & spouses or they can lose their security clearance. It even applies to those they date and associate intimately with.

Same should be applied to elected officials. They are privy to some sensitive materials which could adversely affect the general public, and typically their spouses/intimates would also have access to some of that information, even if unintentional.

Have you seen the picture of Sam and his two daughters? Looks pretty damn nice!
So many detractors, negative nannies, - So he has 2 beautiful or not daughters, that he loves, and jis marriage broke up! So what percentage of marriages break down? How many couples don't get married? Who cares? Only the religious right, and the other eggheads!
