hmmm.....I would have to check around again for that old report, but I dont recall this particular intersection EVER being on the list of dangerous intersections EVER. I would really like to seem the explanation behind safety on this one. But yup.. gonna make a fraking Shartload of money for the city.

It's not dangerous at all....but Erin is a "fast" street.

I seem to recall that most traffic flows at about 70kph.

yup.. gonna make a huge amount of money. absolutely huge.

Seems like its actually a street that would instead benefit from raising the speed limit.

The road is in such poor condition, that your car will fall apart if you are going 70!
My store is at Erin and St Matthews, and I am on that street all the time.
The inside lane is incredibly bad, and I usually go around 40-50 KMH on that side. The outside lane is a little better.

They will briefly say it's about safety in passing then quickly change topic to the revenue it brings in. What I mean is, they're not making any real effort to fool anyone.
