Hey all
for those not in the know.. this year is the first every minor ball hockey season in Winnipeg. hard to believe but there has been no organized league for ball hockey for the kids EVER in Winnipeg.
About half the kids on my team are ice hockey players, the other half still have some great skills but have never played organized hockey before. It should be a fantastic season and quite frankly is a great way to introduce Hockey to kids who might not be able to skate just yet. If anyone is looking for something for their kid to still join there MIGHT be spots available still I am not sure. Let me know if interested.
NEXT YEAR the league will be advertising better look for adverts in and around the community in Jan Next year, close to the same time as basketball, soccer, baseball.
If any Community Centre's are interested in getting involved contact me and I can pass on the contact information. Right now all the kids on my team are made of the same area that encompasses the NWYSA league.
