World's largest social

Who's going?

Manitoba Homecoming is throwing a massive party (or as we like to call it -- the World's Largest SOCIAL!) in honour of Manitoba's 140th birthday.
Socials will take place Saturday, May 15, 2010 and you don't want to miss it!
There are currently 63 communities from all across the province that are coming together to take part in a true Manitoba tradition. All socials are fundraising endeavours for local initiatives in each community. Support your town by purchasing a ticket and feel like you can make a difference.
Tickets will be available for purchase through each community or Ticketmaster with ticket prices in the range of $10 - $15 each.

They are $20...or more...cause of the Ticketsheister fees.

The main reason, at least in my experience, to hold a social is to generate revenue. Where is all the money from ticket sales and whatever else going?

It says in the first post that quotes the article which organizations will benefit. All proceeds from all the socials are going to support community programs and initiatives.

Count me in for that social!! Not all socials are made the same! Do they have Foodfair coldcuts and Kub bread? If no to all of the above its a lame social Cindy Klassen or no Cindy Klassen
