Your wanted you are wanted he probably was a high flight risk , could have been better handled by the police just wait till the caskets in arrest him . Gee he should have thought about that before he went out in public lots of cons miss funerels he is not the first .

He contacted the cops, the cops agreed to wait until after the funeral....That happens all the times.. accused calls cops up... I will meet you here at this time.. cops say.. okey dokey...
The cops admit they messed up on this one.

And since when doe's a cons promise mean anything they all promise what ever you want , all Iam saying is yes it could have been handled better but you are wanted so you take your chances. There is more to this then is reported by some blab radio remember if they don't make it good you won't take the time to stop and read or listen. And that usually means leaving out some of the facts leading up to the incident .

yeah the more to this, is that the cops admitted they were wrong.

"Everybody was so scared. We thought it was a drug deal gone bad," said Ronnie Simmons, another pallbearer and Russ' brother-in-law.

Seems he's outed the man arrested as a drug dealer.

Seems clear to me that these cops were out of line.

Gladwyn Taft Russ III was serving as a pallbearer at the Saturday service and was loading his father's casket into a hearse when the undercover deputies approached him.

Relatives said two deputies dressed in coats and ties grabbed Russ and kneed him in his back before using a Taser on him. One deputy's gun fell out of its holster.

C'mon!!!...arresting the guy when he's loading his father's body into a hearse??? Real classy eh.

And all this because his ex-wife said he assaulted her? Hmmmm.

The good news for him, is that he'll come out a much richer man because of this.Wink

I wonder... If this incident was videotaped would the relatives still say the deputies tried to arrest him while "loading" the casket? Or more likely "after" the casket was loaded? Think about it: would the police really risk that casket being dropped? Not likely IMO.

I'm willing to accept they used really stupid judgment here. But even the police are not that stupid. Are they?

the story is clear I think. He was arrested immediatly after the casket being loaded... by like a couple of seconds.

The reports states he threatened her. Or is that considered assault?

Oops! My mistake...he was charged with threatening his ex-wife initially...then came the other stuff.
