You have to love when 8 people run against an incumbent, and the returning mayor gets 73% of the vote!

I believe that its in the NDP handbook to not have an election platform, but rather just complain about the incumbent. If elected, then they can blame everything on the previous administration. Its been working for the provincial NDP for how many years now?

Would it be better for Winnipeg if we had a left-wing mayor?

Presently, I'm not sure where the ideas percolate from at city hall. I do have the feeling that the tail waggs the dog much of the time.

With an NDP mayor, would we know where these ideas come from?
