Just curious if anyone else if having trouble visiting websites today? Google and Google Toolbar seem to be giving me the most trouble, but even stuff like the Winnipeg Sun is not working for me. It's really weird. Most other sites are giving me no problems (this one, Environment Canada for instance).

I'm on MTS, just curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar. First time I'm encountering this situation, and I can't Google a fix lol.

Though Google appstatus shows as everything is normal, and google search is normal, gmail, igoogle, and developer api's are all down for me. The sites you are having trouble with, may use scripts hosted on Google's API server, so it will fail and cause the site to have some failures, though still run mostly.

Waiting for someone to blame it on the weather!!!! lol....

I've read in a few places it's just been MTS customers that experienced this. It was a problem for me, but it seems to be back to normal now.

Anyone else notice Yahoo! Canada is showing July 13, 2010???
And is giving out "connection refused"
And it's impossible to log in to the main page.

Although Yahoo! Mail is still up and running.

I had no idea Yahoo was still around - thought they went out of business like 10 years ago. Were great in the 90s though.

MTS/Allstream was down for a few hours this afternoon, starting at 2:30pm and was still down when I left work at 5. We lost our internet, company intranet, and all phone/fax service (a managed digital line) for the entire afternoon. Allstream tech "support" explained to me (in halting English) that a few nodules (his word) were down, and that they are working on the problem.

Looks like it's gonna be a busy day for us tomorrow.
