So, instead of the 15-20 cms that was predicted for Winnipeg, you guys got what, around 5cm at most?

Doesn't look like much and I haven't been called out yet so that probably means the city hasn't even started the priority ones or 2's yet...I was just about to go and check the city web site and see where their at...The whole set-up the city has is just crazy...I'll get back to you...GGF

Plenty of snow removal equipment on the streets. Traffic is moving slowly as the roads are a little slippery. Otherwise conditions are just fine. We did not get much. I'll guess 5cm...

Yup but I didn't get a call yet to go out and do snow clearing which tells me that it is probably the "Contractors with guaranteed contracts" that are out at the moment and or the city is just using "truck plows" at the moment and loaders following etc...

I will call the guys I work for later to see where there at if they haven't called me by 6:00 pm or so...These guys are also on a rotational lists with the city which require the city employees to direct them etc and I suspect that they are watching the football game instead right now...The contractors with guaranteed contracts are usually always out right away and it is the "other contractor guys" that the city takes forever with sometimes which totally screws the city up in relation to areas being cleared and when etc...None the less...I don't know where these 2 contractors I do work for are sitting on the list and besides I still have a really bad flu at this time etc...GGF

Raw garlic? I'm confused.

CBC reported that we've received 7cm so far.

First tick, now GGF. People, try for a little lucidity!

I'm going to The Maple Tree in Selkirk for supper.

Still don't get the garlic reference.

Because you said "ha", which is a sound associated with expelling breath to check its odour, I guess...
