2feet+ water laying on the streets in places. within 10 minutes of it starting my entire street was under water. 10+ stalled cars in a 5 block drive to my local sobeys that would need a canoe to get to the door.. or about 9 inch high rubber boots I guess..

heh DAMN!!! and according to radar.. another blast coming in about 1 hour

I know of one long time season ticket holder that did. I suspect many more also.

But there are always those that will wait until shortly before game time to see what the weather will bring.

We left the city around 6 am this morning and our escape from Charleswood was quite a bit slower than normal due to the flooded streets. Good weather in Neepawa in the afternoon, light rain in the morning at Minnedosa. Quiet on both golf courses.

This storm was special enough to be on the Vancouver news for 10 seconds. Many shots of pissed off women trapped in monster puddles under overpasses. We played "guess the overpass" before realizing that we needed to fret about a basement filled with filthy water that we can't get at for another couple of weeks. The joy of making fun of Winnipeg was subsequently leached out of our souls.
