natural gas/ propane smell near route 90 last night?

last night around 5PM there was a very intense smell of natural gas/ propane. It could be smelled at route90 and logan to as far away at Tyndall Park school. Anyone here anything about this or know what caused it?

Agreed! I high tailed it out of the area pretty quickly.

Bad things come in threes. First, the gunshots. Then the live wire school bus incident. That area was just WAITING for a giant fireball. Smile

Scary natural gas smell in my kitchen last night at 1:30 AM, my wife came to bed, woke me up by accident, and I decided to get up to read downstairs. Stopped into the kitchen to close 1 light and she had left one of the gas stove burners on just a fracrion of an inch, so the gas was leaking out.
She uses the has stove sometimes to light her cigarettes. I wonder how much gas would have continued to leak out until 6 AM, or would it have dropped down to the basement and caused an explosion? Maybe I should put it on, and head out for brakfast?
She should be OK as she is way upstairs! lol
