Just wondering if anyone has tried this.
They provide food from 28 restaurants.

Only 28? What's stopping them from picking up from anyplace?

I dunno. Perhaps they are a new business and have to prove the concept to more restaurants.

I know someone who used to order through them from Amici's (not sure if Amici's is still in business) but it looks like a delviery service from the up scale restaurants (some) and some of the fav's from Winnipeg.

yes Amici is still in business. Mobile M has been around for a couple of years now.

I've used Mobile Maitre d' before. It was okay. Higher delivery charges than normal. I imagine they also ask for a cut from the restaurant, which would explain why they only service certain restaurants.

They are between regular delivery and a caterer...targeting restaurants that don't usually offer a delivery service and people that want a more upscale meal.

Before these guys came along, you'd have to make special arrangements yourself with the restaurant if you wanted delivery (usually by cab).
