Tow trucks and other service vehicles will now be protected by the same law that police and emergency vehicles are.

I seriously always just assumed that they were. Them and people just randomly stopped on the side of the road for whatever reason.

Slow down, pass only when appropriate. Why would it be any other way?

If we just stop and think about it for a moment...they actually put a law in place to tell you to give a wide berth to a tow truck stopped on the side of the road with its lights flashing....as compared to the traditional practice of seeing exactly how close can you get to him without actually scratching the paint.

This is just another deflection by the commie bastards on broadway to make us think they're actually doing something. It rates up there with the "don't talk on your cellphone when you're driving" law. Maybe a little effort could go into trying to make this province attractive for business.

I heard the next law they're putting in place is to make it illegal to step in front of a moving bus.
