I don't think she is a dumbass, but her inexperience (insofar as national politics are concerned) shone through. Not dumb, but not-quite-ready-for-prime-time.

I have to agree. I don't dislike her, I may not agree with everything she stands for but I prefer her over Hilary Clinton.

I plan on reading her book. I watched her on Oprah and she isn't dumb...my aunt & uncle live in Wasilla and they know her and her family....my Aunt said she is a really nice lady and her parents are wonderful people.

Ohhhhh boohoo....boofriggin'hoo......I am picking on poor wittle caribou barbie......oh me so mean and nasty....So far so good - 75% percent of you wanna get laid and only one of you thinks Palin is an outright dumbass (no I did not vote that way)....cool.

quite frankly I care far more about getting laid then anything about Palin....except that shes hot...

I find her to be downright scary. She did not write that book on her own either. The only reason why it is selling is because she has been clever enough to generate enough buzz and controversy thus creating a ready-made market for her tripe. And yes, I have read several excerpts of the book....reads more like tacky gossip rather than providing any political insight as where she would like to America go....now why is that? Sarah Palin is nothing but fluff, eye candy to a voting base that is still caught up in its own twisted nostalgic yearnings.....she represents an anachronism of sorts when we need forward-thinking leaders who do not yearn for the rapture.

My aunt and uncle know her personally and tell me she is a smart woman who has done alot for Wasilla and Alaska. I don't know her so I cannot comment, when I read her book I will have more insight. As for her looks, is it impossible for a woman to be attractive and smart? I think not! Not all smart women look fugly like Janet Reno or Hilary Clinton or like Janet Reno and Hilary Clintons daughter Chelsea.

Who cares what her looks are compared to her political opposites....looks have nothing to do with credibility or intellectual might. Mind you, we are talking about people who voted in W twice and let's face it, the boy was the poster child for malapropisms.

I am going by people who actually know Sarah Palin. Like my aunt and uncle in Wasilla. They love her and think she is awesome and they aren't rednecks or uneducated. I have never met her but maybe I will when I go visiting my family in Alaska, if I do meet her I will be sure to let you know my opinion of her.

For the most part, I rarely talk about religion....I respect others religious views....I may not agree but I respect it.
