Google "global warming conference bali", and scroll down to read some of the reports that are saying that there is a biased non- reporting of scientists being ignored in their denial of global warming.

You have to question anything done in Bali by 190 coutries, in wintertime,with 10,000 bureaucrats !

Burundi was the best country there! Phew, thank goodness for them!

The antartica isn't though. It's getting bigger. With the thousands of glaciers out there only a handful are actually being studied. So haow can one get a true picture picture of what is going on? I don't think you can. I think the best thing to do is to prepare for whatever changes are coming instead of trying to stop something that can't be stopped, if it really is happening.

Why is the climate changing? A good question, but before we get to that one, can someone tell me what the hell happened to all the dinosaurs?

Thats why we are running out. Only the first 6 million years of dinosuars bodies are fueling our cars. We want my oil, we need to send ships to Uranus.

Maybe in millions of years, the dinosaurs will return and they will be driving cars, which will be powered by fossil fuels, except we will be the fossil fuels.

The earth is warming up as it has done many many times through out its entire history. This is usually followed by a cool down period.

Perhaps...but I'm sure it will cost more than the current price of oil/barrel to retrieve it.

The rising ocean water levels are already starting to cause a change in continental plate movements. It seems that the Alaskan Islands are starting to crumble under continuous earthquakes caused by the increased weight on the Pacific ocean plate. There is also new sismic activity in the southern USA.

Didn't Africa used to be covered with water? Aren't the deserts of Arizona & New Mexico being dug up to find skeletal remains of fish and waterlife?

I don't know if Global WarMing is happening or not...but it seems inevitable that it would...at some point.

Whether man is contributing to that, or accelerating it...doesn't really matter...would you rather have 100k years of slowly melting? or a quick meltdown and eradication of most of the wildlife on the planet? How do you take off a bandaid? Very Happy>
