The irony of it all is. If the bags were not shipped and lots of people do die, they will cry foul because there were not enough bags at the local RCMP. They will b1tch and complain no matter what is done.

Just wait till the first report of some kid's death from drinking hand sanitizer hits the news.

Imagine the spin. "the goverment sent us this stuff trying to kill our people" and "The government is trying to ethnically cleanse canada of first nations" (not real quotes)

Here is another thought to add to the pile of rubbish. With the money that was used to fly the chief from Wasagamack and his entourage to Winnipeg to dump the body bags at the door of a Gov of Canada office, he could have kept the bags at his location, dispersed them to other reserves if needed (and we all know that eventually they will be needed to transport to Winnipeg for autopsy purposes) and used the money to buy the neccessary supplies that we, the taxpayer are having to pay for for not only the reserves but for our own homes as well.

Yes the Freep and CBC censor any remarks that point out the obvious and ask the questions regarding the Chiefs' silence over native against native violence. Funny tho' reading the CBC comments section just how many folks read racism into remarks that are clearly not racist. Calling into question one's motive or competency is not racist unless their ethnicity is stated as a reason for those issues.

So much drappy reporting! "It appears that increasing rates of flu catching , but activity remains low!
Aboriginals apparently don't plan ahead for death, so we'll return these bags, and make a big deal about nothing, so maybe we'll get more attention. We will return these bags after hours so no one will be there.
Did someone hire a plane to fly these "chiefs" into Winnipeg?
Tell me no one would be so stupid to waste aboriginal money?
