well we all knew it was coming, still does not make it retarded legislation. I am so sick of the government sticking its nose in where it does not belong.

i bet there will be some schools that will have LOTS of "bake days & hot dog days" .

my kids school has a pizza/hot dog day once a month as a fund raiser.

I think a bigger issue will be in the schools with cafeterias in them.

Since we are unable to make decisions for ourselves, why doesn't the government just ban all substances which are harmful to humans?

Ban TransFat?? why when smoking is just as bad and it is legal.
Ban heroin and cocaine?? why when you can get similar effects from drinking Robitussin DM, NyQuil, or inhaling Duster.
Ban marijuana?? Why when alcohol is just as harmful.

Why dont they pass a law that only allows whole grains, whole vegetables and meats? they can easily ban all chemical additives such as preservatives and coloring. Allow only the use of natural ingredients that our bodys can process.

Why dont they just STFU, reduce out debt and take care of important business like health care, education, infrastructre, and law & order.

I know the answer, it is because they cant. they cant do their jobs because they dont know how to do the job.

Do Trustees have said authority to ban them

If trustees can tax the sh1t out of us, surely they can control whats being served in school cafeterias.
