Quebec must go

Can you believe Duceppe? Today he mentions one of the reasons that he would cooperate in toppling the government is that Harper refuses to enact a law that requires that Federal buildings in Quebec be only French-speaking. Yet we'll listen to them repeat the drivel in French on an airplane in Edmonton. The hypocricy makes me sick. Harper would have a realistic goal at a majority if he started shooting back at this prolonged hostage-taking negotiation. As in - include to his election platform that the political structure be changed so as to not allow provincial parties to masquerade on the Federal field. Better yet, table a referendum on the separation of Quebec - as in - do you the people of Canada want to expunge them from the confederation. The time has come. That should give Quebec the reality-check that is long overdue.

That would be entertaining as hell. No politician has the nads to go anywhere near there though...

They really should leave, save for Mtl.

After we kick them out, there would be an exodus to other provinces because Quebec would be a have-not independent country with a credit-rating that no country would lend to - except humanitarian aid from the UN - or France, their grand-mother land. Their Canadian-funded ideals would be properly exposed as the wants of a spoiled child and Quebec would become a pauper. They need to suffer that reality before they regain our consideration to cradle them again. This will happen eventually and I hope Harper has the gonads now to make election-reform an issue in this next unbalanced, untenable, unwinable election (by any federal party). The government should not be formed on the basis of which federal party best accomodates these selfish separation-terrorists.

Perhaps, on the eve of Iggy the Arrogant preparing to force an election, we should all remember who it was that got us into the situation of kissing Quebec ass in the first place.

Forget the kiss. Let's talk about who led Canadians into believing that pulling their pants down and touching their toes with their brains, was nothing more than an unselfish skill of the enlightened. That be Trudeau.
