In response to your question, because the MMSL and the MSA are wimps. I have seen coaches thrown out of games for even asking a referee what the call was, I have seen youth players suspended for 3 games for swearing in pain after been kicked in the groin, and yet certain players and teams are untouchable. Deliberate contact with the goalie is a sending off offence under any circumstances, but this goof basically kicks the sh1t out of the guy and the a$$hole referee can't be bothered to write up a report so he shows a yellow instead of a red. This is Division 2 soccer for gods sake, not the World Cup. SOunds like someone should grow some balls and conduct an investigation instead of waiting for some lazy referee to write a report. Bet you the ref got paid for the game by now.

Not only should the the player in question be suspended by the MMSL and the MSA but so should the ref from that game be disciplined by the MSRA.

Add the MSRA to the list of useless organizations. They have done nothing for the development of referees. For some reason, maybe its because the ED of the MSA is a referee, the soccer community serves the referees instead of them serving the soccer community.
