All I can say is WTF is wrong with some of the radical Islamists? Flogging someone over wearing pants? No wonder they have no problem running planes into buildings....seriously screwed up societies.

It is this irrational tribal thing that permeates some Islamic societies....tribal crap that has no place in modern society. This need to control women, to punish them, to make them the focal point of what constitutes family honor......and what is the biggest peeve here is that the imams who should be speaking up are not doing so....after all, this sort of crap doesn't affect them being male and all....why should they trouble themselves when their lives are hunky dory. Evil or Very Mad

Key word being "modern"...there is nothing modern about radical Islam. That's the problem....those guys make the Catholic church look ultra-progressive.
