i have caught this show before.. then caught it again last night

one of the more interesting concepts they put forward is that it would take 125 years for global warming to reverse and start to return to normal in the event we all of a sudden disappeared.

so that would be INSTANTLY shutting off all the human carbon production and even then we would not return to normal for 125 years...anyone else getting it yet that wasting all this money on carbon reduction is reallly not going to accomplish much at all?

What a load of B.S.- Who are the twits that bleat about carbon follicles?
3 billion dollars to provide food to all the needy children, according to Bonzo or Bono, and the US is spending 700 billion bailing the banks, 1 trillion on Vietnam or Iraq or Afghanistan or the North End.

125 years for global warming reverse its self.. IF it is really us humans that are causing it and not just a natural progression.

If humans disappeared from the planet, the earth would be a much better place. Entire species would be saved, and even though people underestiamte the Earth's natural ability to cleanse itself, no people would mean less toxic emissions, and in 100 years, the Earth would recover completely.

As of today's date, there are 6,769,000,000 people on Earth. That's about 60% too many. Although Canada only accounts for 0.5% of the World's population, it probably produces per capita the most toxic emissions in the world.

Do you have a source for that last statement?

the earth can comfortably sustain human population to 120 billion people. and that is just on land and ignoring the tremendous opportunity for farming kelp and such from the oceans. Will the world be diverse? nope... but we have technology available today that would allow it.

Whats more important a human... or a tree?
