"Within a few years we could cool the Earth to temperatures not regularly seen since James Watt’s steam engine belched its first smoky plume in the late 18th century. And we could do it cheaply: $100 billion could reverse anthropogenic climate change entirely, and some experts suspect that a hundredth of that sum could suffice. To stop global warming the old-fashioned way, by cutting carbon emissions, would cost on the order of $1 trillion yearly"

I am so glad we can help out Bangladesh with one of these plans!
The real scary part about global warming, is in balance I see it as a "possibbly" big plus to having Canada and Northern USA, to becoming the center of the growth in North America, because of all the land that is not being used because of the cold weather.
Here in Manitoba we are in extrememly good shape with all of our cooling and heating easily supplied by clean hydro power , as well as an unlimited supply of water and mosquitoes!
Global warming is a big plus, that is why in the winter months I let my car run continuously while stopped at a red light on the streets.

DeanK what a great link off that link!
Global Warming: Who Loses—and Who Wins?
More specifically, nearly all the added land-value benefits of a warming world might accrue to Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Russia, and Scandinavia.
If Alaska turned temperate, it would drive conservationists to distraction, but it would also open for development an area more than twice the size of Texas.
causing Canada, Greenland, and Scandinavia to experience a rip-roarin’ economic boom. Many Greenlanders are already cheering the retreat of glaciers, since this melting stands to make their vast island far more valuable.
And how long until high-latitude nations realize global warming might be in their interests?

are you suggesting that maybe people start eating mosquitos?
