Why I bet I could figure that out for you!

My instructor in college was fresh out of a job as one of the lead engineers for the computer portion of the EH101 helicopters. That was in 1995.

Why gee the government of the day was GASP!!!! the Liberals and they had only just been elected in the year before!!!!

That's not the way I remember it.
That's what I heard from researchers who were forced into retirement and told to shut down the storage projects they were doing for the US and Japan. From what I hear they could have kept running for years with no Canadian government funding from the foreign projects they had at the time. But I never saw their finances, that's just what I've heard.
