It's not much different from what goes on in other politics. Didn't we just have a few federal parties trying to take over power and the one in charge running to the GG to stop it from happening? Not much different than what happened here but because it's for a reserve people dismiss it as first nations people not being able to self-govern. We don't do much better.

The key to your comment is "the one in charge", as in legitimately in charge, not just a figment of someone's arrogance.

Yeah, I was wrong to say 'the one in charge'. In a minority government that's not actually the case. Sorry, should have said 'the one who thinks they are entitled to be in charge even though the system doesn't actually work that way'. Thanks for catching that.

I noticed late Friday afternoon, the harper Government announced that the reserve would get double funding, so no one would feel left out!
