So their are Italians around who find it offensive! I noticed that 3% of those taking the poll, say so. If the Committee for Social Justice , Rago and Baratto , threaten to call on all Italians to stop drinking that beer if the ad isn't pulled- and the ad has been pulled!

The 'Italian Community' could argue that it does promote the stereotype of the Italians being gangsters, but it could also be argued, imo, the 'this particular Italian community' has its head up its ass and should lighten-up.

Are the actors in it Italian?

If the people protesting it say they speak for the entire Italian community, cant the people acting in it say the same thing?

Half empty vs. half full factions within the Italian community I bet. Some will see the stereotype as an opportunity while others see it as something very negative. The stereotype ain't going away imo, so they might as well embrace this as an opportunity I figure.

LOL the Sopranos actually had the one guy ( the doctors husband) who was very opposed to the potrayal of Italians as bad guys and the Mafia in general for the bad name it gave Italians...
