Although I find the tobacco lawsuit ability kind of ridiculous. Because you know, the government could just make smoking illegal as THEY are the ones "allowing" it and they are the ones that profit from it, so technically the government should be suing itself.

I'd think that most of the people (criminals) are judgement proof. Can't get blood from a stone eh.

depends.. if they make the rule the same as student loans ( ie you can declare bankruptcy all you want and it dont matter) ,, any time the criminal owns anything, he can have it taken from him...
then again, hard for a criminal to turn his life around if he is saddled with a massive massive debt... probably just make him drink more or turn to more crime.

They will likely look for under-the-table work if such a judgment is placed on them. Put any property in the wife's name. Never do a tax return.
