The speed skating clubs in Winnipeg ( there are more then one) have one huge huge huge problem... they dont advertise and get their word out enough.
and then there is this bizarre little tidbit
they are holding a three day clinic in august on the 24th, 26th and 28th. You know right in the dieing days of summer vacation, when no one at all will be thinking about skating other the the AAA and AA hockey kids. Heck of a deal for certain but timing and advertising is just all wrong. My kids took a similar free course at the River Heights speed skating club. They loved it, but did not want to continue on with it.
