I hope it is, because if that is not the case, then we are approaching what happened on NW, and I don't think I can handle another major split! I think we can handle differences in opinions much better and in a more mature manner than what happened back in September on NW, can we not?

Once again and for the last time I will state that I have only been acting in defence. I have called no one a dumbass, a$$hole or told them to eff off......although they may have been deserving of it I will not go there....but when push comes to shove and my intelligence and overall life is questioned, attacked and maligned? I will stand my ground. I have enough on my plate to deal with as it is and do not bring my hassles here....I come here to play, discuss and make folks laugh.

I will take the high road however and admit to a bit of baiting but if one goes back and reads all of the contentious postings done by our cranky friend they will see that there was a few of us wondering what the hell was going on.....in other words dude you be having a bad day.....chill.

Like i said before, got enough on my plate and if some of you really knew what I had to deal with these days, other than an impending business trip, you would be slapping me on the back for exhibiting humour because these days that is the one thing that does keep me going is my ability to laugh.

Was there not a fire in the north end last night.

That was my address from 1944 to 1960, and I really never left the "Northend"!

When I lived their, we had a bunch of hard working young couples, some older generation couples, many relatives. We had Joe Forkin , his wife and daughter. Joe was an alderman for the City of Wpg, a commie, not a bastard, very quiet , very nice, well rad, and he did a damn good job for his constituents. My Grandfather and Grandmother (theu owned the block) and they actually owned a TV set circa 1952 or 54. I remember watching the CBC start up with their test pattern and then go into the news! very exciting. My Aunt and Uncle lived their. My cousins grandfather and grandmother, My grandfathers sister, and then their were lifelong friends of my parents, the Gallis', the Levinsons. That is 8 of the 22 suites.
The side yard was lawn and I remember playing football, soccer, tag, and their were lots of kids around!
Very good memories!
