My wife and I LOVE sushi...and we try any we find.

If it's a "date" night, and money isn't a big object...Shogun is pretty good (though on the expensive side). She still craves going back when we have the money for it again (figure about $80-100 for two people).

The Sushi Train at the Forks wasn't bad...and you can walk off what you eat when you're done Wink.

Cushi Sushi on St. James we just went to last week. It's a very small place (only seats about 20/30 people), so go during "off" hours. It's got some nice ambiance, and the prices were reasonable.

If you're taking the kids...either the Train or Cushi will work. We took our 3-year-old to both of those...and she enjoyed it thoroughly...even got the chopsticks down pretty good.

Enjoy.

That is SOOOOOO childish.

Not all sushi is raw fish...sushi is a preparation style...and quite often doesn't even have fish in it.

It's a date night. We were thinking of trying Meiji on River and Osborne. Anyone tried that place?

Meiji's very popular with the hipsters (linked with the martini bar) and also rather pricey, imo.
