Why o Why o Why would someone have not built ring dikes around the communities after the last flood? Did the federal government not cough up money for flood protection?

anyway... Peguis alone probably has 120 home flooded. Yeah that really aint gonna be a good thing.

Every else did.

The bands will say the feds did not cough up the dough. BUT... it has been 12 years since the last significant flood, and unemployment rate on the reserves is absurdly high. Why did not Hudsen et al create work parties and tackle a little bit each year.

Again these folks need to start taking on some responsibility for themselves.

yeah well everyone else did with additional government money... BUT I agree even without the additional government money I know if I was living in the area I would have built a little up every year...
