Step n' Out is one of those great gems and worth EVERY dollar! Bombolini's and Collosseo, excelente!!

Chain restaurants? BLEECCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHH - VOMITOUS - NOISY - CRAPOLA - PREPACKAGED GARBAGE......you get what you pay for. Better to pay a bit more and EAT FRESH. Support a local, family-run establishment and not some Frankenfood place.

Mind you after living at sea for awhile that first quarter pounder tasted mighty good.

That one is WAY out of Dean's price zone Smile

My wife and I went there for Valentine's this year...phenomenal service.

Food pretty good, though small portions for the price.

Easily a $200 bill for two people.

Mise is fantastic! As to being a turtle? They taste pretty good too....one scene from the movie TAMPOPO (another great bit of erotic eating and overall homage to food courtesy of the \Japanese film community) paid tribute to beauty of a fresh-slaughtered and bled turtle.....

@Ages - was far away for awhile cooking on a private charter.....

If I take my kids out I agree with taking them to a noisy place. I was referring to a night out on the town minus the kids. Before I had kids I hated restaurants that were full of kids....way too annoying.[/quote]
Being that my kids are now all grown, that is why we prefer the lounge over the restaurant side. Even my grown children will join us only if we are going to either a quiet restaurant or to the lounge as they don't like the noise either. I don't like a restaurant full of noisy children and more so if the parent's don't discipline them for being ultra loud and disrespectful (that is another discussion altogether tho).

Why? what'd they do THIS time?

Mine (last week) decided to draw all over our brand new 42" LCD TV (well...Boxing Day new)...with a nail. Not a fingernail...a nail nail...the kind you put into wood. Apparently it draws (scratches) quite nicely (to my daughter) in the screen.

THOSE are the days when you don't want kids anymore Smile

My kids didn't do anything wrong, I have never been a "baby" person. I hated babysitting when I was young. My hubby and I discussed it and I said I could handle one baby and I ended up with 2! Don't get me wrong, I love my kids.....I just couldn't imagine having anymore. My 2 are very tiresome....today we took them bowling for the 1st time....I am exhausted now. Thank God the bowling alley has beer!
