Talk to the enemy? What a dumb ass President!

He's sailing into very dangerous waters but I'm sure he can handle it...he has a way with words I've noticed.

yea I mean what was Bush's way of dealing with them... send in the troops and what did that get Bush? not a damn thing. maybe they just to some to take the time to talk to them... maybe give them a hug... hehe

Bush did kill Sadam and his two evil off-spring. That alone may have justified the war, especially if you lived in Iraq under their regime.

What a foolhearty idea on Obama's part! Does he not remember what happened to the last President that went to a middle east Muslim nation? Mind you, he is younger and more agile than Bush, and he wants to show off by showing he can dodge a pair of shoes faster than Dubya just to show him up. Its just politics.

Perhaps. But at the same time, there are other ruthless, bloodthirsty dictators in the world who have not killed off by or with the help of the US, since they are US allies.

There is a fine line between being seen as a weak leader and one that wants to talk with their enemies. So far, he doesn't seem very strong imho. Too many dumb mistakes.

No, the ones I'm thinking of are obscure dictators in places like Africa. Very bad, abuses of human rights, but US allies nontheless.

China owns a huge chunk of the US economy, so yes. Russia usually has wacko leaders, although not as wacko as the guy in North Korea.
