400 arrested by the FBI and probably 1,000's to be arrested.
I don't think anyone did anything illegal!
I think that with no rules or regulations it is a free for all.
If anyone gave Bullcrap evaluations on home values, or put down that they were earning income when they were not, those people might get in trouble, but i do not believe that any American managers would ever do anything illegal! Immoral is OK! lol

2 1/2 years later and companies are being fined, the latest to agree to a $30 Million fine is OUR RBC in Canada!

Intersting how the American SEC goes after and follows through with charges!

I'm wondering how many people have gotten free houses as a result of the mortgage holders not being able to produce any paperwork to back up their claims.

(Remember that the original lenders doctored up the accounts so badly that they are almost unable to sort them out.)

Way back, there was a time when they spoke of that situation (free houses)but, suddenly, not another word about it.

Hmmmmm.....

My guess is many peeps now enjoy free houses. And the banks etc. likely received their silence in exchange...

That does not explain why 60 Minutes (etc...) have not covered that aspect of the story.
