4 hour wait times in Winnipeg hospitals is impossible.

Most, if not all ERs, only have a single doctor on at any one time. They do this to save money.

Postle knows this. He's just jerking us off with this nonsense.

The guy has got to go.

I am into 3 1/2 years waiting , with no sign of any relief from my pain. I just e-mailed my neuro surgeon, trying to get an explanation of what the future is for me!
Very depressing, the only thing keeping me going is the hope that i will some day be the #9 poster, and the odd day of getting DeanK's pinko name off of the latest topics list! lol

And many are doctors sad but true , you are right though to many pencil pushers , My wife figures double from 7 yrs ago.

I think I've heard where it's more like 500%.

It is very apparent that Doer is only good at increasing the number of bureaucrats and doing sweet fcuk all about increasing efficiencies.

It's at least twice as bad as when he took over though.

I had the impression even the official opposition party (Conservatives) were happy with the status quo during the last Provincial election campaign. I expected the Cons to hammer the NDP with stats about emergency wait times, hallway medicine, WRHA staff levels, etc.
I do not remember much much (any ?) campaigning based on Manitoba Health problems.
I was disappointed!

The campaign they ran was a "we are resigned to accept Evil Doer will win" campaign. I thought that their strategy sucked even if Doer could not lose. They simply stood down and accepted defeat.

The problem is they are still as placid as they can be. They are not shouting out to all Manitobans "here we are" and "we are ready to lead Manitoba". It is disappointing to say the least.
