I am positive I am going to spend too much money on the SOM auction. But thats a good thing for SOM!

The City did a wonderfull job of sanding/salting the main roads this morning before rush hour.

Motorists did a wonderful job of avoiding me this morning on my daily search for serenity.

lol. we had at least +16C today and lots of sunshine. Trees are full of blossoms already. And it snowed again further south.

O quit bragging

There are many positive things here in Winnipeg.

1) Winnipeg has the fastest growing population of aboriginal youth in North America.

2) When the sh1t hits the fan, Winnipeggers can say to all the other Canadians "Welcome to the club".

3) The NDP government can always create more jobs for all of the out of work, Lots of empty office space to fill with voters and union sympathizers.

4) The land under our parking lots and buildings are some of the most fertile farm lands in North America.

5) You can get away with traffic offenses 999.9 out of 1000 times, and if you get a photo ticket just complain its a tax grab and that doing 70kph in a posted 60 is legal because you did not see any workers. In SK or AB fines in work zones is triple, no if's and's or but's.

6) If you decide to further your education past grade 12, there are 2 community colleges and 2 university's in Winnipeg, plus a bunch of career colleges. Lots of Choice.

7) If you work for the city and they contract out your job, they cant get rid of you.

If you are a doctor and you cause the death of many many children because you are not qualified to perform surgery that you are performing, you will not go to jail and you will not get sued.

9) When all else fails, Blame Conservatives for your own short comings and failures.
