Well, the alcohol at a monster truck show may be tempting, but I'm still not going. :party 005:

Most likely methanol as opposed to the green and clean ethanol.
Methanol fumes are not a good thing. Whatever they burn there will still be CO to go along with it. None of this is safe indoors, and that's just the toxic emissions. Flying truck parts can take your eye out.

I'm a huge motorsport fan and I do appreciate the machinery, but these monster truck events are not something I even watch on TV let alone pay money to attend.

now what they need is a rally car race come through manitoba. cept we have no terrain to challenge them. imagine being the co-driver in that race... "slight right turn 4 kms ahead..." LOL

How about a rally race from Winnipeg to Brandon? Winner is the guy that stays awake!

There is talk of just that. There are plenty of suitable roads here. Nopiming park has some of the best rally roads in the country. There was a national level rally held here some years back and the plan is to put it back on the calender.

Sweet, now we are talking! this is a event worth going to. plenty of fresh air, low noise and you go there knowing theres a chance the cars will take you out! lol Actually I love rally racing and have never seen a live event. I'd love to check that out!

Minivans are fine, just as long as the kids have full restraints and wear CSA approved helmets....and be sure to remind them to go before you leave.

The time I went to one in Toronto my throat burned for 4 days. To much smoke and noise.
