if we are really worried about hate crimes and inspiring people to voilence and hate, why is there no public outcry against black rappers who sing about killing whitey? their words are going out to millions of impressionable young people.

In that case its considered artistic expression but if i say "death to jews" or "kill the ni**ers" out loud then its a hate crime?

its way too easy to be thin-skinned and cry racism or discrimination or hate crime just because you disagree with someone else's opinions, comments, or beleifs, and usually pretty pointless to do so.

That is quite hurtful, very scary, and has gone on all my life!

I don't thin saying what AdamX posted is a hate crime! Everyone is entitled to their own perversions, and here in Canada those that think and say those "despicable, in most peoples opinions) would have like minded friends!
The KKK , and other similar groups opposed to certain minorities, have always been with us, and always be part of the make-up of society!
That ex aboriginal chief Ahenakew was slammed pretty hard by the aboriginal community, by the judge and was removed from influence, had his award from the federal government taken back. He hasn't changed his mind about the jews. I cannot imagine who taught him to hate that much, but screw him. He is a sick person, but he can believe whatever he wants to, that is te great thing about living in Canada with our great leader Harper!
Ahenakew was certainly not guilty of promoting hatred. He was asked and he responded to some questions from a reporter, I believe?
Why he was taken to court under that law was ridiculous! Probably under pressure from some dumb ass Jewish group, that was outraged!
