LONDON (AFP) - Chilli and chocolate, crispy duck with hoisin sauce and Cajun squirrel are among a tastebud-testing new range of crisp flavours launched in Britain on Friday. The flavours, chosen by the public and developed with the help of top chief Heston Blumethal, also include fish and chips, builder's breakfast and onion bhaji.

Interesting flavours for potato chips. Can't see myself picking up a bag of Cajun Squirrel flavoured chips though... well, maybe once out of morbid curiosity...

squirrel does not actually taste like much of anything you will probably just get the cajunieness with maybe a little hint of an odd grease.

I was watching a show on Food TV called the F word (Gordon Ramsey) and one of his guests was out on the street having people try squirrel.....most liked it and said it tastes like chicken. LOL

oh man are those ever good chips. Superstore is coming up with some damn interesting and flavourful foods of its "own". No other store even 1/100th the size of the Superstore chain does that.

I tried it...got excited when I saw it...it's quite honestly pretty crappy.

If you ever get to have REAL General Tso's chicken...you will crave it till you get it again.

They are indicating green peppers at Hu's...not chilli peppers.

General Tso's indeed does have chilli peppers (and be careful if you ever get some that you don't eat them by mistake)...but it also has broccoli in it...not pineapple.

I will go try Hu's before I rule it as "untasty"...but General Tso's Chicken was introduced in the NYC area...and since that's where I've built my craving of it from...I have to compare it to the "original" to deem it as truly General Tso's.

Ironically, I've done research on it before...and it's not even a Chinese dish...it's an Americanized version. If you go to China, you can't even order it...it doesn't exist there.

Oddly enough, when I'm drinking I usually crave pasta or pizza, rarely do I eat junk food while drinking. There's something about the idea of drinking a martini while eating potato chips that strikes me as wrong.
