No Bureacracy likes a sh it disturber! I am not sure from the reporting whether this prof had a real complaint that his Phd was damaged because of the granting of a Phd to this student who did not have to do what was required bythe rules. I am sure the lawyers were happy to get in front of the courts to argue this one!

He did have a point. Granting the types pf concessions does weaken the respect for the institution and the qualification.

The University of Manitoba has pushed its openness to all, in order to try and get students who perhaps normally would't make it to University because of average marks.

I think that is a very good thing.

Regarding that, in my opinion, stupid apology, GOM said it all when GOM apologized on behalf of the Sandbox! lol

I received a copy of the apology, as I am on the list of graduates! lol

I replied that I was going to start a class action lawsuit, since the University was admitting fault!

I haven't heard back! lol
