Nobody has ever alleged that any specific statement made by the Black Rod is false. They attack him, not his message. If they could attack his message, they would.

No one denies it, so it must be true? Seems like faulty logic to me.

I think it's more likely (or at least equally likely) that people who are really in the know either don't know about his blog or don't give credence to what he says by publicly speaking about it.

I have a feeling that if the "powerful" people had tried to clamp down on that blog, the blogger would write about that as well. He hasn't. I do think the quality of reporting in this city is lacking in general, but the fact that not one single other place says what black rod does makes me doubt his credibility. What exactly is there to tell me this is more than just one guy's half-assed opinion.

Like I said, when he's written about issues that I have had knowledge of, he really does not know his stuff, in a big way. So why should I believe what he says about any issue.

It seems there are some people on this site who believe what the Black Rod is writing and there are others who think he/she has his/her facts incorrect.
So if someone knows of an instance where the black rod has the facts wrong, please provide us with the information he/she is incorrect. (so we can stop wasting our time following the site) Thanks.

They have signed a 10 year agreement for broadcast rights, AND many season tickets are locked into a time longer then that so I dont believe this is true


Now that your little experiment is done.. on to the CMHR/BlackRod. Very simple for the CHMR to issues statements saying.. say dudes... we are doing fantastic... just like they do every time a significant donation comes in. They have not, because they dont have.

BTW no season ticket holder is locked in for longer than 5 years. Boxes might be 7 year terms though.
