• a poster here will call the CHRM a white elephant and demand to see a business plan, but will not have made an effort to help him/herself by asking the museum for a copy...

• an Indian chief will cry racism BEFORE ever finding fact...

• The Winnipeg Police will do something stupid to embarrass themselves and this time there will be no cover-up.

• evil Doer will step down to take a plum and lucrative position from one of his cronies (or, Harper, wanting him gone, makes him an ambassador)

• the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will have a turn-around season under new coach Kelly. But will fall short in the Eastern final.

• Harper will continue with his arrogant ways, will shoot himself in the foot again, but will not fall to a coalition or to Iggy's indignant rhetoric. Canada will fare much better than the G8 countries. Manitoba will fare better than all other provinces except Saskatchewan.

• yet another extremist Muslim will blow up some important structure taking more innocent lives as they fight their fight of ignorance.

• far too many more brave Canadians will die in Afghanistan.

• the Canadian economy will continue to fall. The TSX will end 2009 on an upward trend, at 8000.

• there will be an assassination attempt on Barack Obama that will fail. Barack will have a very successful first year in office.

That's it?
Me thinks you forgot the food riots.
India and Pakistan will blow each other up.
Oil will spurt out of what once was India and Pakistan.
Calgary Flames WILL NOT win the Stanley Cup.
Neither will the Leafs...
To save money, the Blue Bombers will go with an all-Canadian line-up.
The US govt. will get caught green-handed printing money.
I will be a year older.
So will you.
Snow will fall in Winnipeg. (You can't beat that prediction).

* Iggy will walk away from the Coalition.

* the spring flood won't be as bad as expected.
* Katz will privately decide not to run again.
* Porkgate will continue to be a taboo topic at the Freep.
* Tiger Woods will win another major
* AC/DC will sellout the MTS Centre.

The Mayor will not run again, a scandal will follow.
Milt Stegall will retire for real.
The Rights Museum will face the storm and prevail to be built.
The Bombers will win the Grey Cup.
Ikea will change its mind as to when to build .
The football stadium will be held up by the area residents.

Shammy will declare that the new rapid transit will be LRT instead of the fvcking shitty poor man's excuse for rapid transit BRT

There will be some serious talks about the purchase of an NHL team for Winnipeg

Interchanges will be planned for the Perimeter highway at every at-grade intersection, as well as Lagimodiere Blvd. and Bishop Grandin

An announcement will be made that Winnipeg will receive more non-stop service to domistic and international destinations from the New Termial

H&M, Abercrombie and Fitch, and other higher end stores will announce plans for expansion in Winnipeg and replace the fvcking bargain bin stores downtown

Winnipeg won't even be in the top ten for crime and murder rates in Canada

Aborigionals will learn to start fending for themselves and quit whining that the white man ruined their lives

If I can think of anymore, I'll add em!

1- Mayor Katz will re-route rapid transit from The Bay to the Ikea store.

2) Ikea will open at the University of Manitoba

3) There will be no more slanderous remarks, and no more criticism of our elected officials , on all of these posts!

Um, until we get some competent politicians with balls and gumption to run Winnipeg the way it should be, you WILL hear nothing but criticism from people who have high expectations for Winnipeg.

Politics is a tough job and one which requires a big ego I reckon. Brains and a big ego are extremely rare, so, consequently, we only get people with big egos and small brains...a bad combination.

Recession lasts throughout the year and hits home, but fortunately Alberta is spared
due to the labour shortage that it currently is experiencing, which results in a huge influx of people from Ontario filling said jobs.

A Federal Election will be called for spring, with fed up Canadians giving the Conservatives a huge majority

Israeli-Palestinean conflict boils over. UN imposes sanctions on Israel, which will of course be completely ignored by the US and Canada.

Alexander Ovechkin leads the Washington Capitals to the Stanley Cup Championship.

AR of the "other" Winnipeg forum will continue to bitch about the WPS

The Human Rights museum will be shelved after thousands of Manitobans will petetion the Government to cancel the project after it is realized the huge cost overruns that will occur each year the Museum is in operation.

Jim Basillie will finally acheive his lifelong dream of owing an NHL team, and will immediately move a struggling US franchise to Hamilton, ON.

Ween will finally play in Winnipeg

Nickelback will disband and hardly anyone will care

Amy Whinehouse will die of a drug overdose

The AHL Manitoba Moose will make a run for the league championship, and hardly anyone but a few diehards will care.

The start of western protectionism

Ikea will postpone its plans to build.

Winnipeg's urban sprawl will slow, due to the economy and the over reaction business owners here in the province.. i.e. layoffs/plant shut downs.

the waste of time museum will wait another year.

Bill Blakie will get elected in Elmwood, and laugh all the way to the bank.

oh and umm..... there will be more vigilantism in Winnipeg.

There will be a Canadian on the team that wins the Stanley cup.
