Our Conservative Government is deeply honoured and humbled to have been returned to Ottawa with the decisive endorsement of so many Canadians. Rest assured that we will be faithful to the trust that you have placed in us.
Our strong, stable, national majority government will be able to focus on building a great future for all Canadians. We will defend your interests and stand on guard for all regions of the country. Our strengthened mandate will enable us to pursue our plan to eliminate the deficit, while focusing on creating jobs and economic growth.
Together, we will uphold the values of a freer, stronger, more united Canada. Personally, I return to Ottawa with a renewed sense of purpose and the powerful conviction that our great country can reach for even higher aspirations.
