Nobody has really given much thought to Layton, as he was always considered to be an 'also ran' politician.

It's about time we looked at this guy a little morte closely.

I'm surprised she didn't label him a Nazi (a la Glenn Beck and Obama) while she was at it......Funny you guys hate the CBC for it's liberal bias, but sources like CFP, Sun News and Foxnews are considered fair and objective?

Actually it's Liberal bias and the problem isn't their bias as much as it's they are denying that they have one. That is, besides their being publically funded.

Quite a bit of a difference I'd say.

The only National party that has seats in Canada that hasn't screwed up , that has consistently worked for the "underdogs", is the NDP!
Harper and Ignatief are both scary!

On TV, right now an NDP person has said that because of this attack, smear of Layton, people are switching to vote NDP!
I said a week ago that Layton would be accused of sleeping with the devil in the last 2 days! lol
It is easy to tell what to expect from Harper's Conservatives, as that is their method of operation! Kill the messenger!

One of the criticism's of the NDP is that they aren't fiscally prudent, as is evident in Manitoba, where Gary Doer brought in 10 budgets that were balanced!
Nobody runs a balanced budget for 10 consecutive years and is trustworthy! lol

There is a landslide of a difference between the federal NDP and Manitoba's provincial NDP. If the provincial NDP behaved and made campaign promises like the fed version of the party did, the Manitoba Liberals would own all of their seats plus or minus a few to the Tories.
