What Kind of Sound System Do You Have?

I picked up an RCA Surround-sound system for only $99

I was cautious due to the low price (it's refurbished), that it wouldn't last more than a week...but I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still going pretty strong.

I'll let you know the four complaints I do have about it:
1) It's BIG...as in bigger than the HD-PVR I have...so it will take up some space.
2) It can be loud - not the speakers, the fan inside tends to be loud if there's no other noise in the room.
3) It's bright - the volume dial has a big blue light around it that lights up the room in the dark...if I could figure out how to turn that off I would.
4) Rear Speaker Wires aren't long enough to wrap a room...so I had to splice extension wires on to reach the far side of the room (room is 12 x 14).

IDEALLY, I'd like a system with wireless speakers (though apparently all the ones I've looked at still need a power supply for the speaker...so not REALLY "wireless")...but for now...this one is great...and the surround-sound works excellent for my purposes...certainly makes a difference for watching movies.

I did spend a bit extra for the stands for the rear speakers (about $20)...but for the $120...it's a great system.

I've just got a $130 Logtitech 2.1 speaker system hooked up to the computer. It's where we seem to be listening to most of our music from anyway ( besides the car ).
