I loved the show! His character was awesome!
I'm sure with some good writing and the introduction of a new character, say a long lost uncle or friend. The show should survive.

My favorite character is Josh. For some reason he cracks me up, probably because I had a friend like him in high school.

I met him while he was here working on Elijah a couple of years ago. He was a very down-to-earth guy....very personable.

I really liked the TV show Nero Wolfe...so did Maury btw, but it was too expensive to produce I figured.

That would work.

There's enough characters around here for it to work eh.

I loved him in Whale Music and of course his character in Mystery, Alaska.....he was a very personable and humble man, dedicated to his craft. I wonder now how this latest show of his will evolve?

If I could walk, I think I could do the part! lol
He was just perfect for the part. Every time I saw the show, I was transformed back to garden City Collegiate in the 60's. Kays Driving Company , I think was located in garden City, out of the Kay's home? The writer for the show I believe is a grandchild of Kay!
Such a funny home situation, just as I could imagine any of my friends' family situations!
Real life happenings and more!

Of the famous Kaye Driving School fame? (hence the storyline perhaps).

Of course it is...I just caught Rosie's post about Garden City etc. oops.

I was speaking with a sound guy and he mentioned how Chaykin had cancer but kept right on working up to the very end.

I had no idea this show even existed. I've got to watch this. It's sad the man passed away. I enjoyed him in various roles he's been in.
