The Rocket Man is soaring back into Winnipeg for a concert in May.

Elton John and his band will be at the MTS Centre on May 7 as part of the Greatest Hits Live concert, featuring tracks from John's five-decade career.

Saw him last time and he was fantastic, will be going again, if I can get tickets! He has the record for fastest sell out at MTS, no presale either

On CITI this morning they interviewed dude from the arena. Said they added a second concert last time which also sold out. There apparently won't be a second concert added this time. They tried to arrange it but no luck.

I saw him last time he was here and I wasn't impressed. Tickets were crazy expensive and imo was not worth it.

Saw the second show last time. Loved every minute of it.

I recommend going, even if it is just to see how short he is.

He's a fantastic show. I don't get the shot about his height - he's 5'7". Billy Joel is 5'5". The only thing that is interesting as far as size goes is Billy Joel's fingers - they are little sausages - as in abnormally short and fat. It's a miracle he can play the piano like he does. As far as Elton- rumour has it he stretches his fingers every day.
